Photo Rejuvenation - A new approach to a younger looking you!
Fine lines, age spots, enlarged pores, dilated capillaries, facial redness and wrinkles can really age your skin.
Photo Rejuvenation successfully treats these problem areas using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).
Offering minimal risk and no "down time" the treatment leaves you with firm, smooth glowing skin after only a few treatments.
The gentle but intense light waves penetrate all layers of the skin, to eliminate both visible and invisible dilated blood vessels. A cool gel is applied to the areas to be treated and the smooth glass crystal of the IPL hand piece is gently applied to the gel and pulses of light are applied.
You may feel a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band. The treated areas may feel like mild sunburn and can develop a slight puffiness for 24 to 48 hours
The treatment takes about 30 to 45 minutes to treat the whole face and we recommend a program of four to six treatments, spaced three weeks apart. Most patients experience results after the third treatment, and continue seeing ongoing improvement for six to 12 months after the program.
Photo Rejuvenation can also be used to remove age spots on hands.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a fast and safe way to give your skin an instant lift.
The skin resurfacing technique removes dull and dead skin and stimulates the production of new skin cells and Collagen, leaving healthier and younger looking skin. It can be used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, blackheads, enlarged pores, brown spots and sun damaged skin.
Mircodermabrasion is a less aggressive technique of skin resurfacing compared to laser resurfacing, but more powerful than facial peels.
The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes, and involves natural mineral crystals being propelled on to the surface of the skin to gently remove dead and dry cell tissue.
The procedure is not painful and is safe for all skin types.
There is no down-time with patients returning to work afterwards. Immediate improvement can be seen, which will continue to improve with further treatments..
