THE PROCEDURE
The Non surgical facelift, otherwise known as Thread Lift, involves the placement of finely barbed nylon threads under the skin of the face, producing a gentle lift to areas such as the eyebrows, cheeks and jowls.
The presence of these threads under the skin stimulates the skin to produce collagen around the threads, locking them into place.
This produces further support to the skin of the face as the ageing process continues.
The procedure is performed entirely under local anaesthetic, taking 1-2 hours. You can drive home afterwards and return to work within 2-3 days.
HEALING

Am I suitable?
The technique is suitable for any person whose face is beginning to show or already shows the signs of ageing or weight loss.
These signs include drooping of eyebrows, flattening and sagging of cheeks with accentuation of naso-labial folds; and sagging of jowls into the skin of the neck.
How long do the threads last for?
The threads need to be considered as permanent as they are very difficult to remove. More threads can be added if required at a later time.
When will I see the results?
Subtle lifting and tightening will be seen immediately after the procedure. The full effects will be seen after 6 months.
Can I see or feel them?
The threads cannot normally be seen or felt under the skin.
Are they safe?
The threads are not known to react with the skin or cause allergies.
